Bryan is President of MC Development and graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering in 2005. Bryan worked as a Field Engineer for Smoot Construction directly out of College before joining forces with his father Garry at Wachtel & McAnally Architects/Planners. Bryan worked for Wachtel & McAnally from 2006 to present on Construction Documents for each project and has specialized in Construction Administration throughout his time with the firm.

As President and Partner of the company, Bryan is involved in all aspects of the business including bidding, project management, coordination, contracts, meetings with the clients etc. The types of projects range from residential, commercial, multi-family developments, storage developments, group homes, ICFs, adult daycare facilities, assisted living facilities, etc.

MC Development works all over the state and is looking to expand throughout the Midwest. The growing company completed a design/build development project of 182 Mini Storage Complex and is breaking ground on a 346 unit complex in late winter of 2020-2021 - spring of 2021. The Company is looking to develop storage projects all over the state and throughout the Midwest. MC Development will be renovating (2) 8 Bed Assisted Living Facilities in Newark in the Spring of 2021. MC Development is teaming up with Premier Home Health for a partnership on the project and will be looking to expand these types of properties as part of their portfolio.

MC Development has completed numerous group homes (waiver homes), ICFs and adult daycares all over the state of Ohio and will expand into the Midwest in the future. Acting as the General Contractor, the company teamed up with Wachtel & McAnally Architects for a design/build delivery method to produce 22 beautiful homes on Buckeye Lake including a commercial pool and pool house. This project was one of many design/build projects with the Architectural Firm.

Bryan has also developed or in the process of developing 30 plus investment property projects ranging from multi-family, assisted living facility, single family investments & storage that he has partnership in and his team manages.

A graduate of The Ohio State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture (1975) and his Masters of Architectural in Design (1977) degrees.

Garry is the Principal of Wachtel & McAnally Architects and is also a partner in MC Development. MC Development often teams up for a design/build delivery method with Wachtel & McAnally Architects. Garry is responsible for the design and construction documents of all those projects. He is an expert at managing projects that involve communication between owners, consultants, and the design/build team. Garry and Bryan visit the job sites during every phase of construction to ensure all trades are building to the updated plans. Garry also has extensive experience in the construction of all types of buildings including, group homes, multifamily, correctional facilities, retail & developments.

Garry has extensive experience in various types of projects including office buildings, health care facilities, industrial buildings, schools, MRDD facilities, and retail stores. Most notably, Garry has extensive experience in criminal justice facilities, where he works on jail programming and design; including all requirements of full service, five day, eight hour, sentenced misdemeanant, community based correctional facilities, and is familiar with grant applications and the approval process.

Garry is a registered Architect with the NCARB in Ohio (No. 6321), Florida, Louisiana, West Virginia, Michigan, and Mississippi; Garry has developed over 600 apartments (has partnerships to most of those) and most are managed by his company K & G Management.
